Participants explored issues related to using data to inform their community suicide prevention activities, including topics like obtaining data from partners, collaborating with juvenile justice, adult corrections, and child welfare, barriers to access, and successes in data collection. Dr. Casey Childers from the University of South Carolina presented on how the South Carolina Garrett Lee Smith state grantee used their data to engage communities with recent suicide deaths. There was also an overview of the Community Suicide Prevention Website.
