Participating Medical ED Collaboration Community of Practice (CoP) states and tribes explored issues related to the financing medical ED suicide suicide prevention. The meeting also covered the issue of ways to incorporate professionals with lived experience in suicide prevention programming. SAMHSA's Public Health Advisor James Wright presented on ED suicide prevention financing. Tom Kelly, a former member of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention's Suicide Attempt Survivors Task Force shared his story and information on ways persons with lived experience can strengthen medical ED suicide prevention efforts.
