SPRC Conferences

SPRC sponsors regional conferences for state planning teams.

The goals of the SPRC conferences are to:

provide teams from participating states and territories with shared learning, prevention support, and targeted planning
increase understanding of basic suicide prevention theory and evidence-based practices
improve skills in conducting community assessment, identifying and implementing programs, coalition building, communication and evaluation

Featured speakers include suicide prevention experts who work in research, public policy development and education, as well as survivors and advocates whose experiences help shape prevention efforts at national and local levels.
