This Webcast is the first in a series of three training sessions for grantees in implementing the Cross-site Evaluation of
the GLS Suicide Prevention Program. The cross-site evaluation team presents information to grantees to facilitate start-up
and implementation of the cross-site evaluation. Specific topics covered include: (1) Institutional Review Board (IRB)
clearances, (2) the need for data user agreements, (3) a summary of cross-site data collection activities and intended
respondents, and (4) the resources and tools available to grantees in carrying out the cross-site evaluation. This webcast
is appropriate for GLS grantees required to participate in the cross-site evaluation, as well as program partners and other
individuals interested in the data collection activities associated with the Cross-site Evaluation.

This is the second of three webcasts planned as part of the cross-site evaluation technical assistance and training plan for
the 14 State/Tribal grantees. The purpose is to provide information to the grantees to enhance their participation in the
cross-site evaluation by outlining strategies to gain buy-in and maximize data collection resources, and by identifying the
importance of the information that will be collected through the cross-site evaluation. Specific topics to be covered
include (1) the importance of evaluation activities, (2) the benefits and challenges of participating in the cross-site
evaluation, (3) strategies to gain buy-in from program participants, (4) strategies to maximize data collection resources,
and (5) specific benefits associated with the information to be collected.

The Webinar is the final of three webcasts sponsored as part of the cross-site evaluation technical assistance and training
plan for the GLS Suicide Prevention grantees. The purpose of the webcast is to provide information on the Suicide Prevention
Data Center (SPDC) and its utility for Campus grantees in (1) entering cross-site evaluation data, (2) accessing cross-site
evaluation data, and (3) communicating about cross-site evaluation activities.
