NEVADA: Legislation Creates Committee to Review Suicide Fatalities

In May 2013, Governor Brian Sandoval of Nevada signed legislation authorizing the creation of the Committee to Review Suicide Fatalities. Located in the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention, the committee identifies and track trends and risk factors for suicides, recommends prevention strategies, and submits an annual report to the state director of Health and Human Services.
