NEVADA: Provider Training Legislation

In June 2015, Nevada’s governor approved Assembly Bill 93, which requires suicide prevention training for a wide range of health and behavioral health professionals: psychiatrists, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical professional counselors, social workers, and clinical alcohol, drug, and gambling counselors and detoxification technicians.
