UTAH: Parent Notification Legislation

Utah’s House Bill 128, which took effect in May 2015, mandated that public and charter schools adopt policies for notifying parents should their child indicate that he or she may attempt suicide as well as to comply with requests to expunge that record after the student graduates from high school.
