This no-cost consultation service is available to any provider who serves veterans at risk for suicide, whether or not they are receiving services from the VA. Providers can contact srmconsult@va.gov and suicide risk management clinician/researchers will contact them and provide consultation on issues such as assessment, lethal means counseling and engaging veterans at high risk.
