• Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 5 – (SCR 5) establishing a legislative policy on suicide and creating a South Dakota strategy for suicide prevention
  
  

Funding Sources:

• 2009 – Garrett Lee Smith Funding – The South Dakota Division of Mental Health received a second Garrett Lee Smith grant for youth suicide prevention. The anticipated amount is $ 500,000 per year for three years.
