Linda Henderson-Smith
Dr. Linda Henderson-Smith is president and principal of ATC Consulting, LLC. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in community-based mental health, notably as the senior director of children and trauma-informed services at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and at Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health, where she served as director of mental health planning and policy and developed training on trauma-informed systems.

Her experience as a trauma survivor influences her work implementing and evaluating services for mental health and substance use disorders, especially among state agencies working with vulnerable populations. She also developed a statewide crisis system and mobile crisis response and crisis stabilization units. Currently, Dr. Henderson-Smith works on implementation and evaluation of behavioral health services nationwide.

Previously, Dr. Henderson-Smith worked at the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as director of the Office of Children, Young Adults, and Families. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), certified professional counselor supervisor, certified change management practitioner (CCMP), and Six Sigma Black Belt.
