Seth M. Kursman

Seth M.Kursman

Seth Kursman serves as vice president of corporate communications, sustainability, and government affairs for Resolute Forest Products, a global leader in the forest products industry.

With over 30 years of experience in various corporate and division-based functions, Kursman brings extensive political and public policy experience as well as expertise in media relations, corporate and financial communications, environmental affairs, and corporate social responsibility. 

Kursman received his bachelor’s degree in 1988 from Bowdoin College, where he graduated with high honors in government and legal studies. He has served on a number of philanthropic, industry association, and advocacy boards.

A member of the Marketing Expert Panel at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University and a guest lecturer at McGill, Kursman is currently on the Executive Committee of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention. He was named Top Global Sustainability Leader for 2017 by the Business Intelligence Group and recognized in 2016 by PRWeek as among the 500 Most Influential Operators Around the World.
